My donation is rather symbolic. But I absolutely had to pitch in. Here in Montreal Canada, where I have lived for 55 years, our beautiful, white winters are disappearing. There is less and less snow every year. Playing hockey on outdoor rinks will soon be a thing of the past. As a fan of winter sports and snowy landscapes, this saddens me. The "natural" disasters happening around the world added to the fact that many countries making a shift towards the political right, I can't understand how someone cannot be filled with anxiety right now. I know I am. Young people like you standing up brings me comfort, gives me hope. Never give up, for we are thousands cheering.
