I joined Our Children's Trust because I truly believe in its forward-looking mission to protect the rights, lives, and health of children and future generations. My ancestors fought for a better world for me through slavery and segregation. Their efforts allows me to exercise rights they were denied and have given me a life and future they could have never imagined. Each day, I read my small children stories, hug them as tight as I can, and help them grow into kind and brave humans. When they are old and grey, I hope they will tell their children I fought for a better world for them.
