The climate emergency is a threat that no longer can be ignored and I am proud to be part of an organization that is striving to protect youth and their fundamental climate rights. We have had some incredible successes. In Montana, we won the first climate trial to occur in the United States and in Hawai'i we accomplished an unprecedented settlement, in which the Hawai'i Department of Transportation has agreed to reach zero emissions in ground, marine and interisland air travel by 2045! I am excited to keep this momentum going in our current and future cases.
